Beauty Box Five Review - September

So earlier this week I went out to my mailbox to check it and Lo and behold…there was ANOTHER Beauty Box Five box of goodies in there!  Um?  I cancelled this thing two months ago.  I really can’t complain that they keep sending it to me though!

I’ve checked my bank accounts and they definitely aren’t charging me, which makes me happy.  I wonder how long it will take them to figure this out? Should I feel bad?!?

Anyways, as I’ve said, this box is $12 a month. I think it is $10 a month if you get a 3 or 6 month subscription.

The theme this month is “On the Go.”

So here it is….the September Beauty Box Five box! 

1. Every Beauty Makeup Remover Pads w/Argan Oil– 4 pads

These actually seem pretty cool!  You just get them wet and use them to take off your eye makeup. I have packs of those wet makeup remover wipes, but I rarely use them so they always dry out.  These would be nice because they won’t dry out since you don’t wet them until you use them!

2. Body Drench Lip Drench in Grapefruit – .15oz (FULL SIZE)

Meh.  Chapstick.  Nothing too exciting here. I love me some Burts Bees though and I don’t really use any other kinds. Maybe I’ll leave it in my nightstand in case my Burts rolls off the top some night and I can’t find it!

3)  Fine Featherheads Fly Ties– Pack of 4 (FULL SIZE)

Ok, I really don’t understand these hair ties. What is the point of these?  I thought they weren’t supposed to crease your hair, but mine totally did when I used one. Plus, the little tie tail thing isn’t very attractive. I just don’t get these.  The colors are pretty though!

4)   Skiin Shop Instnat Skin Tightener & Line Filler – 3 ml

According to the card this is deemed “plastic surgery in a bottle”.  For that cheap? Why isn’t the whole world using it?  It’s supposed to lift, tighten and rehydrate your skin in minutes.  I’ll try it under my makeup to see if it can smooth out my skin a bit. I have some acne scars that it would be nice to cover. If it can fill lines it can fill those right?

5)  Bella Pierre CosmeticsCelebration Shimmer Powder – .8 oz. (FULL SIZE)

Oooo I love the color on this! So pretty and shimmery.  It’s like a very vibrant bronze color. I will definitely get use out of this.

This month’s box actually had a pretty good value and several are items I might actually use.  Even though I like it, I don’t plan on signing up again at the moment.  Although, if they keep sending me free ones I will obviously accept!
