Starbox Review - September

I got my second Starbox!  I really loved this box last month so I was excited to see what the second one would bring.

If you don’t remember, Starbox is a monthly beauty box that is $15 a month (plus a few dollars S&H) and comes with 3-4 FULL SIZED products each time.  No tiny lotion samples!

The website says the makeup line is comparable to MAC, Chanel, Sephora and other department store lines.  It also says that the value of each monthly box ranges from $35.00 to $99.00.

So here we go….the September Starbox! 

1. Starlooks FL13 Lashes– 1 set (FULL SIZE)

Ooo well this is something I have never gotten in a beauty box before!  How exciting!  I really like the look of these lashes.  I can tell they will give you volume, but don’t look overly ridiculous and fake. They even come with lash glue. This is a win!

2. Starlooks Lip Gloss in “Pearl Necklace” – .14 oz. (FULL SIZE)

You know my love for lip products in general, so this is another exciting item.  I don’t really love the color by itself, but I think it will be great over some colors that may be too bright for me. Clear colors just aren’t my favorite since my lips without any product are pretty light colored.  The only thing I don’t like about this is the name…it makes me think of something not so nice. Anyone else?

3. Starlooks Infinity Eyeliner Pot in “Milky Way” – .12 oz. (FULL SIZE)

At first I looked at this and was really bummed. What the heck am was I gonna do with white eyeliner?  I would look pretty ridiculous wearing that. Then I read the card and it says that its really versatile….it can be an eyeline, an eyeshadow or a base. It can also be mixed with a loose shadow to create your own color of liner or shadow.  Ok that, my friends, is exciting! I use a paint pot (in the color bare study) from MAC every single day as a base, so when that runs out I will definitely be using this!

I really like this box.  It’s not as fun to get only three items, but hello, they are all full size so that is still a win!  I’ve gotten lip products two boxes in a row too, which I love.  If the next one is all eye liner pencils and mascara though, I am going to be totally bummed!
