Ipsy Bag Review - March

Hello ipsy!  My favorite time of the month :)

I love getting this bag in the mail! As I’ve always said, this is the best bag out there, especially for such a low price.  If you are looking to start a beauty subscription, I would definitely try Ipsy first.

As you know this box is $10 a month….how can you not go for it? 

The theme of this month’s bag is “Destination Beauty.” 

Without further ado….the March Ipsy bag!  

          1)     Vita Liberata Luxury Tan Lotion -  20 ml

I can’t decide how I feel about this.  I guess I will have to really try it to find out.  I can’t stand most self-tanning lotions because of the dang smell.  If this doesn’t have a terrible smell, I would love it. A scent is not mentioned in any of the reviews…so my fingers are crossed.  My pasty legs need this! *updated* I tried this and there wasn’t a scent, however I would HIGHLY suggest gloves to put this on!

           2)    Chella Eyeliner Pen in “Indigo Blue” – .034 oz. (FULL SIZE)

I think I would love this if it were a different color. It’s a bright blue. I color swatched it on my hand and the color is beautiful, but I just don’t know if I could get away with this on my eyes!  Guess I will be experimenting soon.

           3)    Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad in “Bora Bora” – .17 oz. (FULL SIZE)

            I am a bit indifferent on this.  I like the colors, but I don’t think I could actually use just this 

            palette alone.  There are no light colors!  I think it would be pretty terrible on my face if I  

            did. That being said, I will still definitely get use from these. I will just have to break out  

            some lighter colors from a different palette to go along!

4)   Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in “Get Ready” – .05 oz.

Ah!  I love this!  I’m pretty sure this might be the first product I ever go and buy full size. The color is perfect for me and its really moisturizing which I love. What’s even more exciting is if you use the included code you can get free shipping and a free sample of mascara from Bare Minerals when you order from their site.

The theme is definitely noticeable in this bag, it definitely has a tropical/vacation feel to it.  I did see some other subscribers got an eye shadow palette, which I would have preferred, but overall I am pretty happy.  I got a few things that are outside my comfort zone, but I don’t hate them!

I really am madly in love with Ipsy! I think it’s the best thing out there as far as beauty boxes, especially for the price.
