The Greatest Show on Earth

Hello!  I am back from vacation and trying to get caught up on everything. I had an amazing time in LA and Santa Barbara!  I can't wait to share stories and pictures with you guys :)

Until then, I will leave you with some pictures from the Circus!  C and I went to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus here in Phoenix on Saturday evening. I was so incredibly excited to see the show. I was talking about it our entire weekend of vacation.  I am such a kid at heart! Oh, apparently C's job does have a few perks because we got discounted tickets since the Circus was being held in the same arena he plays his football games in.  Woo hoo!

I have to say the tigers were definitely my favorite.  There were 18 of them all in a ring with one man. Phew!  That's got to be a little nerve wracking. I was simply amazed by how well these animals were trained.  When their portion of the show started they were all let out of a long train of cages straight into their ring (which was caged as well). Each tiger went straight to a specific pedestal.  They were smart enough to know where there starting spot was.  So cool.  It was also neat to see how incredibly different each of these animals is.  You can't really tell when you see one or two together, but 18 together really shows off their differences!

Other things I loved were the dancing poodles (these things were walking around on their paws with their hind legs in the air!), the elephants (amazing animals in general) and the tight rope walkers.  I got some cool pictures of those guys.

P.S. It was hard to get very many decent pictures because the lighting was so crazy.  They just look like bright blurs on my camera. But I think I got a few :)
